FGP’s Focus

FGP focuses on three contributing factors that play a critical role in improving governance of environmental sustainability and labor rights in marine fisheries. We work on these contributing factors individually — and look for ways to connect the dots between them — to drive global change.

  • The adoption of key international treaties and their implementation.

  • Market compliance with a strong set of corporate duties at the intersection of IUU fishing and labor rights in the fisheries sector.

  • Improved accountability & fisher organizing
